Nisly Happy New Year

The beginning of each new year comes with a fresh start full of goals and resolutions that we plan to achieve. What are some of the goals you would like to accomplish this year?

I challenge each one of you to include political involvement on your list of ambitions.

Just as we set resolutions for ourselves, we should do the same for our country.

As we’ve witnessed recently, the people who hold office can greatly affect our livelihoods in a variety of ways. We are blessed to live in a democracy that allows us to control the narrative, so why don’t we speak up?

Getting involved is easy, and you can choose how to do so.

Attend city council and school board meetings.

Research the candidates you’re interested in.

Donate to a candidate who supports your values or volunteer to work on their campaign.

We must demand action from both our leaders and our peers. We cannot defy this tyrannical overreach on our own. It is time for every ‘tiny tyrant’ who holds office to be removed.

If we want this unconstitutional government overreach to come to a halt, we must work together as one. Let’s use 2022 to saturate Indiana politics with sincere patriots!
